Adrian Banks is a British composer, producer & sound editor based in the United Kingdom.

Adrian produces bespoke music to picture and theatre, working with world class companies and artists

(BBC 4, Rolls Royce and Expedia). Recently providing music for Ask Italian(2022) sound design for DHL (2022) and Sky's adSmart campaigns in conjunction with Oxford House Motion Pictures (2023). Other recent work includes credits as composer on Nubia Way (2022) and providing the original score for the Tuthill Porsche film, 'East African Safari Classic Rally' (2023).

Banks recently worked as Musical Director for the gig/theatre experience 'Song of The Sumer' in collaboration with the

Royal & Derngate and Cherwell Theatre Company.

 

Banks collaborates with  Michael Price (Sherlock, Dracula, Unforgotten) and releases music with APM, Juice, Emipm and Sony. 

As an arranger and songwriter, Adrian works closely with the award winning Stevensonics, writing fresh music for iconic 80's artists and upcoming acts. Recently producing the single 'Because of You' by Tony Hadley (Song of the week on BBCR2)

Adrian is a multi-instrumentalist, and has performed in various bands, touring internationally along with airplay and production credits on

(UK) BBC Radio 1, BBCR2, BBC6, BBC Wales, (U.S) KRCW & KEXP.

Banks currently tours and writes with Dolly Mavies, recently supporting Mel C and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

From cinematic, widescreen scores to pumping synths, jangled guitars and fragile piano themes 

Adrian is comfortable writing music in a wide range of genres for any project using the latest industry software.
